7 Great Scientific Discoveries in Human History...
1. The Pythagorean Theorem:
- A well known theorem which most of us hear it in our high school grade. A popular formula of a2+b2=c2, where a and b stand for the two short sides and c for the long in a right triangle. This theorem is proved by the Greek Philosopher Pythagoras in the 6th century BC.
2. The existence of microorganisms:
- Discovered by Anton van Leeuwenhoek in late 1600s. When microscopes were new, He scraped some plaque off his own teeth and looked at it through a microscope and found out that it was crawling with “animalcules”.
3. The three laws of motion:
- Newton came up and discovered the three laws to explain the motion of all objects in the universe, from runaway trains to orbiting planets. (He also invented differential calculus, explained gravity, and discovered the spectrum--not bad for one lifetime.)
4. The structure of matter:
- In 1789, French chemist Antoine Lavoisier published and came up a list of "elements"—a substances that could not be broken down further by any chemical process. His list was incomplete and contained mistakes but he was into something. With his work, chemists developed our modern view that all matter can be broken down into just 109 elements, that all elements are made up of atoms, and that all atoms are made up of just 3 types of particles--protons, neutrons, and electrons.
5. The circulation of blood:
- Each person has a fixed amount of blood circulating throughout his system in 1 fixed direction. The first discovery in the 12th century by an Arab doctor named Ibn al-Nafis, was rediscovered by the 17th-century English doctor William Harvey. Harvey's work opened the opportunity to research a full understanding of the physiology of living bodies, human and animal.
- In 19th-century scientists (like Alessandro Volta) got electricity to flow did people become aware of this as a distinct force. Today, electricity powers everything from light bulbs to computers, study lamps, florescent lamps and a lot more. But the discovery of electricity is bigger than its practical applications.
7. The Evolution of Species:
- People used to think that every life form now on Earth was here from the start and that no new species had been born. Charles Darwin's theory of evolution was developed in the 19th century which reveals the dynamic nature of life on Earth. The word "theory" leads to think that evolution itself remains controversial among scientists, but no mainstream scientist doubts that old species die out and new ones arises. It's only the exact mechanism of evolution that remains in play, and modified versions of Darwin's idea of evolution by random natural selection still dominate biological thought.

WiMax is much greater than WiFi...
WiMax stands for Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access, is a telecommunications technology that provides wireless transmission of data; using a variety of transmission modes from point-to-multipoint links to portable and fully mobile internet access. This technology provides up to 10 Mbit/s broadband speed without the need of cables (wireless technology). The technology is based on the IEEE 802.16 standard (also called Broadband Wireless Access). The name "WiMAX" was created by the WiMAX Forum, which was formed in June 2001 to promote conformity and interoperability of the standard. The forum describes WiMAX as "a standards-based technology enabling the delivery of last mile wireless broadband access as an alternative to cable and DSL".

WiFi Technology
If you are in coffee shops, airport, corporate building, hotel, library and you are rushing yourself how you can connect to the internet, your problem is now solved using WiFi Technology. You can connect your laptop, PC or even your mobile phones to the internet without using wires and cables. It is the power of Wifi technology.
Advantages of Wifi:
1. Easy to set up for internet connection.
2. Inexpensive to purchase and setup.
3. Convenient, without using cables and wires in connecting routers and switches.
4. You can use the internet anywhere you like inside the building.
5. You can save money.
How it works:
1. A computer’s wireless adapter translates data or information into a radio signal and transmits it using an antenna.
2. A wireless router receives the signal and decodes it. The router sends the information to the Internet using a physical, wired Ethernet connection
As long as they all have wireless adapters, several devices can use one router to connect to the Internet. This connection is convenient, virtually invisible and fairly reliable; however, if the router fails or if too many people try to use high-bandwidth applications at the same time, users can experience interference or lose their connections.

Brief History of Computer
Tracking back the history of Computer is one lot of pain in the head but no one can imagine how useful it is today.
Now showing you a brief history of how computer started…
The development of modern computer nowadays is the product of human knowledge and the will to improve to their environment. The first concept of computer is the invention of the ABACUS. It is a counting machine invented by the Chinese. It is used in Asia for performing arithmetic processes and it is constructed as a bamboo frame with beads sliding on wires.
Next is, we move to the inventions of the computer in 20th Century where we can see a computer model composed of hardware and software parts. In 1936, Konrad Zuse invented the Z1 computer, the first freely programmable computer and in 1942, the invention of the first ABC Computer arises. It was invented by John Atanasoff and Clifford Berry. In 1944, another computer was invented by Howard Aiken and Grace Hopper which is called the Harvard Mark 1 computer. It was the first automatic digital computer in the USA and was considered the first universal calculator. Then in 1946, John Presper Eckert and John W. Mauchly invented the ENIAC 1 computer. It was the first general-purpose electronic computer that is capable of being reprogrammed to solve computing problems.
Let’s move now to 1950’s. In 1951, John Presper Eckert and John Mauchly invented the UNIVAC computer which is the first commercial computer and able to pick presidential winners. In 1953, IBM enters into the history of computers. The International Business Machines invented the IBM 701 EDPM computer. And in 1954, the first successful high level programming language, FORTRAN computer programming language, was created by John Backus and IBM.
Moving a decade, in 1962 the first computer game was invented named Spacewar computer game which was created by Steve Russell and MIT. In 1964, Douglas Engelbert invented the Computer Mouse and Windows. He named it Mouse because the tail came out at the end. And in 1969 the original internet, ARPAnet, was created.
These are the overviews how computer started and evolved into a more advance and sophisticated nowadays. But human knowledge has no limitations, thus there is more to come than we ever imagined.

Why Mobile phones are important...
Technology is changing faster nowadays that people didn't notice its evolution.
The fast changing phase makes people adapt also to its demand. This evolution makes people invent gadgets, tools and machines for a faster, convenient and effective ways to communicate. This spring’s the invention of mobile phones. Mobile phones play a vital role in our lives. We admit that we always depend on it wherever we go. Mobile phones makes people feel they are close to each other. It is a medium that connects people in their everyday lives. We can talk to our love ones in long distance; use in business transactions; call for an emergency; inquire for something; greeting our spouses; and even to phone a friend.
The functions of the first invention of Mobile phones are Instant messaging (text message) and Calling but many years had passed since the invention, the evolution of mobile phone has a lot to offer in the lives of the people using it. The examples are: you can browse the internet using your mobile phone, locate a lost friend using his mobile phone, send video and picture, create a video, capture a picture of a spot, connect to your laptop or computer, and a lot more.
Several companies are developing cellular/mobile phones nowadays. Every month they are releasing another model of their product and people are fascinated with it. People are also adapting to its demand which makes them spending too much of their expenses updating what are the latest models.
But we admit without these mobile phones we cannot be productive and more advanced as we are now today.
